While sessions are designed to stay within this timeframe, there’s some flexibility to ensure a supportive and unrushed experience, particularly in the early stages or when exploring significant topics.

Rest assured, the hypnosis portion remains the primary focus, and profound shifts can happen regardless of the session’s exact timing. Before we begin, I’ll confirm the anticipated duration to align with your schedule and ensure we have the time needed to make the most of our session.

  • ·  Your willingness to heal.

    ·  Your readiness for change.

    ·  Consistency keeps the momentum going.

At its core, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis—it's a skill that anyone can learn with time and practice. While some people respond quickly to hypnosis, others may take a little more time to reach their goals. Hypnotherapy can be used for addressing various challenges, as well as for exploration, creativity, and personal development.

Are you open to exploring new ways to address your challenges and achieve personal growth? Hypnotherapy is ideal for those who are ready to actively participate in their healing process and are open to using the subconscious mind as a tool for positive change.

    • Belief That the Power is Outside Yourself: The work I do is about empowering you to find your own answers and with practice, helping you believe in your own power. Hypnotherapy may not be the right fit if you believe the power to create change lies entirely outside of you. This process is most effective when you are willing to take an active role in your healing journey and recognize your own ability to create transformation. While I provide guidance and support, hypnotherapy works best when approached as a collaborative process, rather than expecting someone else to "fix" you.

    • Seeking a Magical Fix: Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that often requires multiple sessions and a commitment to achieve lasting results. Those looking for an instant solution without putting in the effort may not fully benefit.

    • Attending for Someone Else: If someone else is sending you to hypnotherapy, it’s important to assess your own readiness. A willingness to heal, a readiness for change, and a personal desire to participate are essential for success.

    • Unwilling to Participate: Hypnotherapy requires active participation and an open mind. If you are highly skeptical or resistant to the process, it’s unlikely to be effective.

    • Certain Medical Conditions: If you have specific medical conditions, consult your healthcare provider before starting hypnotherapy to ensure it’s a safe option for you.

  • Why choose a bundled package?

    • Invest in Yourself – You’re ready to commit to meaningful personal growth and transformation.

    • Enjoy Savings – Bundled sessions come at a discounted rate, making it a cost-effective way to prioritize your well-being.

Transformation takes time, and a bundle ensures you have the support needed for deeper, lasting change.

  • A package is an investment in yourself, and it’s important to choose what feels right for you. You might know a package is for you if:

    • One of the titles or descriptions resonates deeply with you.

    • You feel a sense of curiosity or excitement about what it could bring to your life.

    • You’re ready to prioritize your personal growth and commit to meaningful change.

  • If you’re not satisfied within the first 15 minutes of the session, I’ll happily refund your money. After that, the session is non-refundable.

It’s important to know that hypnosis isn’t a magical fix—it’s a powerful process that works differently for everyone. Success often depends on your openness, responsiveness, and commitment to the process. Each session is unique, and even if results aren’t immediate, many clients find progress unfolds naturally over time.

If you’re unsure about starting, I recommend exploring one of my hypnosis audios or attending a workshop to see how the process resonates with you.

  • It’s common to feel drawn to hypnotherapy without a specific issue in mind. While having a clear goal helps direct the process, the goal doesn’t need to be tied to a particular challenge. It can be about anything—creativity, a skill you want to develop, curiosity, or even exploring personal growth. Having a goal, however broad, gives your subconscious something to work with to bring about meaningful change.

During a 15-minute Discovery Call, I may suggest using the Wheel of Life assessment tool to help clarify areas in your life that you might want to focus on. The Wheel of Life is readily available online if you’d like to explore it on your own. This assessment can help you identify which area of your life needs attention most. Often, these areas are interconnected, and by focusing on one thing at a time, you might notice improvements in other aspects of your life as well.

In our first session, we’ll have a thorough discussion to explore why you're drawn to hypnotherapy and any underlying concerns or goals. We’ll work together to get clear on your goal and how hypnotherapy can support you in reaching it.

  • Hypnosis is often used as a complementary therapy to support medical treatment. While it can help manage symptoms and improve overall well-being, it is essential to consult with your healthcare provider regarding any medical conditions and discuss incorporating hypnosis into your treatment plan. Hypnosis can help manage pain, prepare for surgery and bring ease and comfort during challenging times.

  • There’s a common misconception that hypnosis is like being 'knocked out' or in an unconscious state. You may have felt that you weren’t deeply 'under' because you were still quite aware and trying to control things. In reality, hypnosis is a heightened state of focus and relaxation.

Perhaps you experienced a lighter level of hypnosis? Even light states can be very effective. In most sessions, you’ll be in what we call a light trance, a heightened state of focus and relaxation where you are fully aware. In some techniques, we enter hypnosis through intense emotions or discomfort which can also activate a trance state.

Since everyone responds differently, some people feel more relaxed than others. Sometimes, sessions may feel like you’re just having a conversation, while other times, you may feel more deeply relaxed. This doesn’t mean you weren’t in a hypnotic state.

Hypnosis is a skill, and like any skill, it improves with practice.

To enhance your experience, minimizing distractions can be really helpful:

    • Check the environment for distractions

    • Silence your phone

    • Keep pets out of the room

    • Choose a comfortable chair with support for your back and head, allowing you to fully relax

  • Yes, hypnosis is considered safe when practiced by a trained and certified hypnotherapist. During a session, you remain fully aware and in control. It is important to choose a qualified professional and discuss any concerns or questions you may have before beginning hypnotherapy.

  • No, you cannot get stuck in hypnosis. Hypnosis is simply a process of relaxing your body and mind. If you're not used to feeling deeply relaxed, this sensation might feel new, but it’s completely natural. After a session, you may feel very relaxed, and it can be helpful to drink some water or take a few minutes to ground yourself with deep breaths and gentle movement to fully return to your body.

  • Yes, virtual sessions can be just as effective as in-person ones! In fact, being in your own comfortable space can enhance the experience for some people. The process of hypnosis works the same regardless of the setting—it’s all about your comfort and readiness to relax.

For the best results during a virtual session:

    • Use headphones to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

    • Sit in a comfortable chair with your head supported.

    • Silence your phone and minimize interruptions.

    • If pets or other distractions might interfere, consider keeping them out of the room.

    • Create a calm, distraction-free environment to focus fully on the session.

Remember, your readiness, willingness, and desire for change are key to your success. Relaxation is at the heart of hypnosis, and the more open you are to the process, the more effective it can be.

  • Each person's healing journey is unique, so there's no set number of sessions that guarantees relief. While hypnotherapy is not a quick fix, it empowers you by tapping into your innate abilities and addressing the root cause of your issues.

Hypnotherapy is a process of peeling back layers—exploring emotions, beliefs, and behaviors that may be blocking your progress. After 1-2 sessions, we can assess your responsiveness to hypnosis and tailor additional sessions to your specific needs.

While there's no set limit to the number of sessions, it's rare for hypnotherapy to extend beyond 10 sessions without significant progress or breakthroughs. Some clients find relief after just one or two sessions, but the exact number needed depends on the individual and the complexity of the issue.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you achieve lasting change efficiently.

  • Yes, hypnotherapy has a growing body of scientific research supporting its effectiveness in various areas, including pain management, anxiety reduction, and habit control. However, it’s important to note that more research is needed, and individual responses to hypnotherapy can vary.

    • The Hypnotherapy Academy of America conducted a notable study on the use of hypnotherapy for women with overactive bladder (OAB) and urinary urgency incontinence (UUI). Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), this study involved a four-year, $3 million double-blind, randomized control trial with 152 women. The results showed that hypnotherapy was as effective as, and in some cases superior to, drug therapy. Specifically, patients who were moderately to highly responsive to hypnosis experienced superior outcomes one year after treatment compared to those who received standard drug therapy (Pope Hypnotherapy) (MedHypnoTraining) (Hypnotherapy | C Lee).

This study builds on earlier research conducted by Dr. Robert Sapien and others at the University of New Mexico, which found that hypnotherapy significantly improved symptoms and quality of life for women with OAB compared to behavioral therapy alone (MedHypnoTraining). For more detailed information on this study, you can visit the Hypnotherapy Academy of America's website.

    • In Brussels, Belgium, anesthetist Professor Fabienne Roelantz uses hypnotic anesthesia on some patients during surgery.

    • Hypnotic anesthesia is used in dental surgeries as well.

  • Expect dedicated support and tailored sessions to enhance your skills or performance. The number of sessions are flexible, depending on your commitment level and needs. We'll work together to create a plan, providing support weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly until you feel confident or reach your performance deadline. Just like learning a musical instrument or new language, mastering hypnosis takes practice and repetition.

  • Hypnotherapy itself doesn’t heal you—the healing comes from within. Hypnosis isn’t an instant, magical fix; instead, it’s a powerful tool that helps you access your inner resources for healing. Hypnosis is a process of unfolding layers that are within you. As you attune to your inner wisdom, you’ll gain clarity, insights, and understanding that facilitate your healing and transformation. There are techniques like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and bilateral stimulation which can provide fast relief from pain or emotional suffering, but this relief still originates from within you. By learning self-hypnosis, you can enter a relaxed, focused state, further enhancing your sessions. Ultimately, the true power lies within you.

True healing comes from seeing, understanding, releasing, and making a new choice.

  • The success rate of hypnotherapy sessions can vary depending on factors such as the individual's responsiveness to hypnosis, the skill of the therapist, and the specific issue being addressed.

However, research and clinical experience suggest that hypnotherapy can be effective for many conditions, with success rates ranging from 50% to 90% for issues such as smoking cessation, weight loss, anxiety, and phobias.

  • Hypnotherapy can address a wide range of issues, including emotional management, stress relief, pain management, phobias, fears, addictions, cravings, mental blocks, internal struggles, relationships, confidence, self-esteem, performance and skill enhancement, learn how to relax, soul searching, personal growth, unexplained experiences, existential questions like “What’s my purpose?”, creative blocks, and finding creative inspiration, the list goes on…

  • Hypnotherapy works by guiding you into a relaxed and focused state, allowing you to bypass the conscious mind and access the subconscious. In this state, we use techniques like imagery and visualization to help you uncover and address any obstacles that might be standing in the way of your specific goal.

Each session is tailored to your unique goal, helping to clear blocks and create lasting change.
